Two Months in....

Back from Vacation

Oh boy, getting back on the ol' horse isn't so easy.

But what a trip! Man! We drove from Alabama all the way to Maine and back with six kids, a dog, a cat, a guinea pig AND a fish. Amazingly enough, we all made it back home alive. Making Memories. Making Memories.

The whole trip wrapped itself around my parents, my dad in particular. He was diagnosed with rectal cancer and under went a tough regimen of both chemo and radiation. He faired the treatments without quitting although he wanted to often and real bad. I thank God for my mother and her strength to keep Dad going. It took their team of two to get thru that. Next is the surgery. Now that's another big deal that none of us are truly ready for. We just know that its the right thing to do and that it will be the answer for him to continue to live out his life long and healthy.

As we were in Maine visiting, we stayed with both sets of parents with equal time shared and have a wonderful chance to have the kids play and get to really know their grandparents better. It is important. Their grandfather, even though healing from treatments, still found the energy to don balloon hats and play croquet with the grandkids.

Making Memories. (I love that new Bon Jovi song that sings that...)

I continued to get onto the internet whenever possible. Reception wasn't always available. My husband and I had to sit outside the public library and use our wireless, one day. But I did get to take care of business on line from time to time. That's all that is really required with Big Ticket To Wealth. Once you get it all set up and running, it is very self sufficient. I love that! But its fun, too, to always be tweaking and blogging. And of course, this trip will be tax deductable as well. At least a percentage of it anyway.

And on to another week. I will be back!!

p.s. here's a neat little saying that I seemed to have retained: Worrying is like a rocking chair~It gives you something to do, but gets you no where.

Getting Ready for a Trip to Maine

The first talk of driving the RV to Maine from Alabama started back in March. We had made plans for the grandparents to come get two pre-chosen kids on their way to Maine the second week of June. This did happen.
We had planned on following them up thru the next week after they left. This did not happen. Several factors came into play preventing us from going. So, the two girls are in Maine visiting with both sides of the family for the summer, without us.
Now its time for us to go up and visit, too. We leave later this week! Very exciting. I wanted to insert a picture to go with this blog, but it just didn't happen that way. I will make up for it though, with more later.
I will be blogging my way up thru the states until we reach Maine. Driving straight thru at the current speed limits for each highway is supposed to take approximately 24 hours. We suspect it will take us about 30 hours with everything going smoothly.

One Month In....

Here I am again, finally with a little report.
I have had four more members sign up with my company. I have had many take free test drives, and many claim their free ebooks. I am really excited to watch this business grow.
And what gets me even more excited about it, is doing research on marketing tactics. Wow! There is a lot of self-proclaimed gurus out there. The ones that I pay most attention to are the ones with great info and they give their learned knowledge credit to the one that they learned it from. "Give credit where credit is due". Yes. This, in my lowly opinion, makes a true guru. One that is proclaimed to be a guru by multiple others and not them selves.
Okay, with all that said, I am just jumping here and there trying to follow the steps of all these marketing gurus and in turn...actually not getting very far. I keep wanting to make things too perfect and then end up procrastinating. Hmmm, I think I am being my own theropist here!

Stop the insanity! Git R Done!

Sixteen Days In...

I have been so busy tweaking my web sites and landing pages. I have learned so much from all the ebooks and videos from The Back Office of Big Ticket To Wealth.
I am middle aged and I'm thinking to myself, "Man, why couldn't I have found this a decade ago?" I know that my family has suffered some due to my inexperience in "show me the money", but with Big Ticket To Wealth, I can more than make up for that, and in a short period of time. This Christmas is going to be great!!

Eleventh day in...

Well, after I finally got my bank account verified two days ago, I have received dozens of hits on my landing page. A great percentage of those hits went to the next page and out of those two have signed up with the Team. All this before my first cup of coffee this morning!
I am anxious to see what tomorrow morning brings!!

My first time...

I am going to ramble a little bit here since it's my first time.

I have recently joined an internet marketing and developing company and I am very excited about it!! It has been nearly a week of putting together our web site and landing pages and now we are starting to get 'hits' and it is very exciting.

We are a family of eight and things could be a lot worse than they are, but they could be a lot better.

A friend of ours gave us a book to read. It is called, "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrnes. We have had changed lives ever since reading that book, my husband and I. That book led us to The Attractor Factor then to The Key, then to Zero Limits, all written by a man named Joe Vitale. These books have forever changed the way we think of things. We are so much happier. Our kids are so much happier. And we have never been so grateful for the very things that we have.

We have vision boards and goals. We never did before.

With all that said, we are very excited about watching our company blossom into something huge. We are excited about helping and watching our team members grow and prosper right along with us.

Very exciting times!! Indeed!!

I do plan on keep track of our successes as we get further along in our venture right here.

I won't know how often I'll be writing here until it happens, but I'll be here...keep track in front of many.
